Tavistock releases tenant lineup for Lake Nona West

Tavistock Development Co. has lined up a mix of retailers for its Lake Nona West lifestyle center that will complement the new SuperTarget anchor, providing shoppers with a variety of options for apparel, home decor, books and spirits.

The latest additions are Nordstrom Rack (25,900 sf), Barnes & Noble (15,600 sf) and Homesense (25,000 sf). GrowthSpotter previously reported that Total Wine & More would also build a 20,000-square-foot superstore in the shopping center, which is scheduled to open in spring 2026. The developer is also in advanced lease negotiations with a “highly-respected national tenant” for the 65,000-square-foot junior anchor next to Target and for two outparcels fronting Lake Nona Boulevard.

Tavistock now heads to Las Vegas next week for the world’s largest shopping center convention with 75% of the space at Lake Nona West pre-leased.

“We are delighted with our tenant lineup. I think it’s a great testament to Lake Nona’s regional significance and the thought and effort that Tavistock devotes to placemaking. We look forward to announcing a number of highly regarded national and first-to-market tenants soon. Honestly, we couldn’t ask for stronger leasing momentum,” said Skipper Peek, senior vice president of commercial development at Tavistock.

Peek also revealed the name of the center’s first restaurant: Cañonita. Acclaimed as one of the Las Vegas Strip’s most popular restaurants, Cañonita offers a menu of soulful, scratch-made Mexican recipes, including street tacos in hand-pressed tortillas.

Set on 54 acres along Lake Nona Boulevard near Boggy Creek Road, Lake Nona West will feature a custom art program that will add bold murals and lush landscaping to enhance Lake Nona’s existing collection, while pocket greens and hard-scaped plazas provide spaces for pop-up events.

The center will also support Lake Nona’s sustainability goals with the addition of 20 Level 3 EV chargers from Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging. Mercedes-Benz chargers are accessible to all EV drivers and offer a charging speed of up to 400 kW, allowing some vehicles to recharge in about 20 minutes. This expands Lake Nona’s EV network, which includes Level 2 chargers at Town Center and other locations, designed for longer visits.
